Foxes are Premier League’s ‘Forrest Gump’: Ranieri
The 25-year-old wasn’t preferred from the start nor off the bench in Liverpool’s 3-0 loss against Watford.

Leicester City will be hoping that strong trend continues.
Claudio Ranieri went to study German football during his time out of the game.
Leicester have taken 26 points from a possible 30, they are the highest scorers in the league and in Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez they possess two outstanding individuals.
A late run of form eventually saw them escape relegation and begin the campaign in stunning form, a factor Ranieri attributes to how hard his players work for each other.
Ranieri insists the Foxes are under no pressure, as the real stress comes when a team is fighting for survival.
‘Everybody think (England manager) Roy (Hodgson) should lead the boys to the title, they have really good players’. “It’s stupid if we have pressure”.
“Now they must enjoy it. They must play free, without pressure”.
“All the world are speaking about you, continue to play how you are doing. The fans are dreaming and I don’t want to wake them up”.
The Reds are ninth in the Premier League table after 17 games but winless in their last four in all competitions.
Liverpool will still be without seven players through injury as Dejan Lovren, Martin Skrtel, Joe Gomez, Danny Ings, James Milner, Daniel Sturridge and Jon Flanagan remain sidelined. Simon Mignolet could replace him if the Belgian is passed fit to play.
Ranieri, on the other hand, should be bothered by a few important injuries.
Liverpool have won four and lost none of their last six Barclays Premier League games against Leicester City.
Leicester were unbeaten in their last nine Boxing Day matches before returning to the top flight (W4 D5).
Ranieri was able to study Klopp up close after Dortmund and Greece worldwide defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos arranged a meeting in the last winter break when they were in La Manga.
“The players are very focused”, Klopp said. He has scored 13 goals and has picked up 7 assists in 16 appearances for Leicester and looks unstoppable.
Liverpool just need to win this game by any means necessary, and while Leicester weren’t seen as a big scalp when the fixtures were released, victory could help Jürgen Klopp’s side rediscover the promise shown in October and November.

The Gunners lost 2-0 at St Mary’s last year and, even though the Saints were in much better form back then, it still won’t be an easy task for Arsenal this year and Southampton may just come away with a point.
