FPS survival horror Allison Road could be the new Silent Hills

The knocking at the door, the constant tension of not knowing what is next, the mystery, and the stunning visuals easily make this game at the top of the list of things to watch develop. Most of the resulting changes have been relatively inconsequential… but there has been one major casualty.

The P.T. Silent Hills trailer was short and incredibly obscure, but it’s left a permanent, lasting impression on the gaming populace. Again, nothing official has been released, but it’s likely that the strained relations between Konami and Kojima is the true culprit behind its cancellation. Just like the P.T. demo, the protagonist wakes up with no memory, and soon realizes that the home he’s in is slowly changing around him, and that he’s not entirely alone.

Allison Road is a new indie horror, which – well.

The “playable teaser” P.T. had gamers around the world grabbing for the nearest pillow. Do you think Allison Road can fill that void?

As of the time of writing, Allison Road has only been confirmed for the PC.

There’s even an inventory system.

All in all, it looks like Allison Road could end up being a worthy successor to Silent Hills.

According to the developer, Allison Road takes great care in rendering an actual house, which means the images and footage found below really have to be seen to be believed. Taking inspiration from the short-lived horror, a small group of people are hoping to create a game of their own, called Allison Road, and it’s now on Steam Greenlight.
