France honors victims of Paris attacks in national ceremony
Most of the assailants in the Paris attacks killed themselves using suicide vests or were killed by police but French and Belgian authorities are still hunting others suspected of involvement or possibly plotting new attacks.

The federal prosecutor’s office said in a statement on Friday that the unidentified man was “charged with terrorist attacks and taking part in the activities of a terrorist group”.
It wasn’t immediately clear who carried out the latest airstrikes.
Outside, French flags fluttered from windows and passing cars on a day of national mourning that saw homes and businesses across the country display the red, white and blue.
A formal ceremony was organized in the cour d’honneur of so-called Les Invalides in Paris.
As the names were read, a stone-faced Hollande sat alone in a simple, hard-backed chair, the crowd of mourners looking on silently from the courtyard behind him.
France’s military provided the only images of Friday’s ceremony, and no-one without an invitation was permitted inside.
“These women, these men, embodied the happiness of life,”Hollande continued”.
“They represented life, and it is because they represented life, that they were killed”.
The father of the youngest of those killed, 17-year-old schoolgirl Lola Ouzounian, stayed away in protest against the “disastrous policy” of France and its “interference” in the Middle East and its role in toppling the Libyan dictator, Muammar Gaddafi. After the music, pictures of the victims, the majority of whom were under 25, were shown on a giant screen as their names and ages were announced.
Hollande stared ahead, before finally rising to speak.
His message – in a speech he had penned himself rather than delegating it to speechwriters – was that France would not change. The outpouring of love from around the world has been a great comfort to us and makes us even more proud to have had Nick as our son.
“I have confidence in the generation to come”.
The ringleader behind the November 13 attacks in Paris had plans to strike Jewish targets and to disrupt schools and the transport system in France, according to sources close to the investigation.
Mr Key said he was not prepared at this stage to increase New Zealand’s current commitment of a 30 percent reduction on 2005 emissions levels, but was not ruling out doing more as the technology allowed it.
Paris was still reeling from the November 13 synchronized attacks that saw Islamic State extremists lay siege to cafes, a stadium and a concert hall.
The attacks – claimed by the Islamic State (IS) group – were the worst ever terror attack on French soil, leaving 130 dead and 350 injured.

French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said Saturday that just under a thousand people thought to pose security risks have been banned from entering the country since tighter border controls were enforced earlier this month in the run-up to the COP21 climate talks and in the wake of France’s deadliest attacks in recent memory.
