Francesco Guidolin to hold talks with Ki Sung-yueng following substitution spat

Swansea manager Francesco Guidolin is confident that new signing Fernando Llorente will score his fist goal in the Premier League very soon.

The South Korea global appeared to remonstrate with Guidolin and refuse to shake his hand as he left the field shortly after the hour-mark to be replaced by Jefferson Montero. Guidolin wasn’t impressed with it and spoke of how he respects “all people, all my players” and claimed that those relationships are “the most important things for me” and it is something that he will be working to solve immediately.

“This is not a good attitude”, said the under-pressure Italian. “I have to speak with him”.

Guidolin insists the issue with Taylor has been settled after the Wales global was substituted before half-time during their 2-2 draw against Chelsea. “In the last part of last season I trained my team to play with five defenders, and sometimes you have a good opportunity to do this”. Good players – no problem for relationships. “I can understand [Ki’s disappointment], but it’s not a good situation”.

Swansea mustered only three shots on target in their third loss of the season and face leaders Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal in their next three Premier League games. Guidolin admitted that he does “worry” about the current results as that is “his job”.
