Frank Ocean Debuts “Nikes” Video on Apple Music

Over the past couple of weeks, Frank Ocean has been live streaming a video on his website, but it turned out that it was just a looping art project that was filmed around a month or so back. Good news though, Frank Ocean’s second album “Boys Don’t Cry” may now only be 24 hours away.

– Lewis Munro (@Chewymunro) August 19, 2016 Frank Ocean can keep dropping these visuals and album every decade if he wants.

According to the Times, the new album will stream exclusively on Apple Music. Stay tuned for much more from singer/songwriter and more coming very soon!

The singer has released an 18-track visual album titled Endless, which features contributions from James Blake and Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood over a 45-minute black and white video reminiscent of Frank’s previous live-streams where he was seen chopping wood.

The Thinkin Bout You singer, who hasn’t released an album since 2012, has been hinting at a new record since a year ago (15). “Endless” features footage previously featured in Ocean’s web stream and includes the singer building a staircase in a large warehouse.

In New York, the pop-up took over a magazine shop on the corner of Mulberry and Kenmare, with dozens of issues of Boys Don’t Cry inside glossy packaging arranged on the store’s racks.

Ocean’s widely acclaimed debut album, “Channel Orange”, was released in 2012.

Ocean’s producer Malay explained the delay in an interview on Reddit, saying: “Art can not be rushed”.

A representative for Apple Music confirmed to Rolling Stone that Endless was a separate project to his sophomore album, which would be released over the weekend – but was no longer titled Boys Don’t Cry. It’s about making sure the flawless aesthetic for the situation has been reached.
