Frank Ocean releases visual album, actual album out this weekend
Ocean’s widely acclaimed debut album, “Channel Orange”, was released in 2012.

Instead of releasing the long-awaited “Boys Don’t Cry”, Ocean has released a visual album on iTunes called “Endless”.
Endless, described as a “film” by Apple Music, who have the exclusive rights to Ocean’s new music, was released at midnight.
However, according to Rolling Stone, Frank has changed the title.
The forthcoming release is also expected to come bundled with a printed publication, which might still be titled Boys Don’t Cry, distributed in Apple’s retail stores. But it wasn’t until Thursday night that we finally got a drop of the Ocean, courtesy of Endless, a 45-minute, 18-track “visual album” available exclusively through Apple Music.
Now, however, the 28-year old has gone the way of Beyonce with “Lemonade”, springing an artistic visual album on supporters without much warning. In the video, Ocean builds a spiral staircase in the middle of what appears to be a warehouse. The record featured the hit song “Thinkin bout You” and earned him two Grammy Awards, including best urban contemporary album. That title has been ditched and the new Frank Ocean album will be released under a different name.
As The Guardian reports, Apple have also suggested that we can expect “more from Frank” over the coming weekend.

He later unveiled the 18-track visual album, which features collaborations with musicians such as James Blake, Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood and Jazmine Sullivan, with the London Contemporary Orchestra providing much of the handsome background tunes thanks to its cello, violin, double bass and viola players. Let’s face it, Frank has made us wait for four years before he’s chose to drop new music, so it wouldn’t surprise us if there was actually something else hidden away.
