Some fans were in total awe and disbelief that new music had surfaced.
After more delays than the Elio Three Wheeler and the mid-engine Corvette put together, singer and obsessive auto nerd Frank Ocean is finally-finally!-back with some new music. Though the singer remains relatively quiet, he did previously reveal on his Tumblr that he had two versions of his highly-anticipated album, Boys Don’t Cry.
In addition to the digital release via Apple, yesterday Ocean opened pop-up shops in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and London handing out free copies of a “Boys Don’t Cry” art magazine including a CD of the new album. Being a visual album that’s seemingly all over the place, Endless is meant to be both listened and watched in just one setting, instead of finding that favorite song, and repeating it over and over. It was initially believed to be called Boys Don’t Cry.
“I had the time of my life making all of this”, he wrote. It was released early a year ago to tease the album and was then titled “You Are Luuh”. Thank you all. Especially to those who have always remembered that I had something to finish.
Frank Ocean’s much talked about second album “Blonde” is now available and streaming at Apple Music.
Ocean’s forthcoming LP will be his follow-up to Channel Orange, which debuted in 2012 and won a Grammy for Best Urban Contemporary Album. “Which is basically every one of y’all”. “I suspect the main album is yet to come”.

A year later, the singer updated his website with an image of a library due-date card stamped with a number of dates – including July 2016.
