Frank Ocean has been toying with fans, keeping plans for his Boys Don’t Cry album infuriatingly vague.

But the expectation for new music heated up in recent weeks after Ocean’s brother posted a photo on Instagram with the title “Boys Don’t Cry”.

Shot in black-and-white, Endless will have you going on a 45-minute visual journey through 18 videos of multiple Frank Oceans transposed onto the video working in a warehouse. You can also purchase the album on iTunes. The anticipation for new music from Frank Ocean has been eating the internet up. We can now add Frank Ocean’s to the list of pop releases surrounded by misinformation and controlled by someone disinterested in getting with the program. There was no news a year ago about his next release, which left his fans moaning, but later, he appeared in a mysterious Apple-hosted live stream where he was seen tinkering away in a woodworking shop – the same shop that featured in Endless.

Unlike Beyonce’s Lemonade, a visual album that accompanied each song with a distinct act with a distinct look, Endless is more fixed. By the end of the video, Ocean has built a spiral staircase made up of wooden boxes.

Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood is credited as a string orchestrator on “At Your Best (You Are Love)’ while James Blake is credited for the synth on ‘At Your Best”.

The mysterious musician has kept fans waiting for a follow-up to his Grammy-winning 2012 debut album Channel Orange/ He then surprised fans with the sudden release on “Blonde” on the weekend.
