Frank Ocean reveals Blonde, his new album

He has already released a music video for the first track on this album called Nikes.

The black and white video shows Ocean and some co-workers in a warehouse working together to eventually create a spiral staircase in the room. He’s been teasing new music for over a year now, and Channel Orange producer Malay Ho recently addressed the holdup in a Reddit AMA. He appeared on two songs from Jay Z and Kanye West’s collaborative album, “Watch the Throne”.

It’s finally here! Frank Ocean released his long-awaited sophomore album, Blonde, exclusively on Apple Music and iTunes on Saturday, August 20 – and fans went wild.

The single follows the late Thursday night release of “Endless”, the 18-track visual album.

For some reason, the album is called Blonde not Blond on Apple Music. As you continue to digest Endless and patiently await what’s supposedly in store this weekend, here are six interesting facts about the mysterious musical guru that is Frank Ocean.
