Frankfurt airport terminal reopens after security scare
Others said the evacuation was due to a “bomb scare”.

The “rogue” person entered the security area before the required checks had been completed.
No flights may arrive at Frankfurt airport until 1200 GMT (1400 CET), European air traffic network manager Eurocontrol said, warning of “significant delays”.
All passengers had been cleared from the Terminal 1 departure hall earlier.
According to Reuters, federal police said the person who breached security was not in custody and that it was unclear whether the breach had been planned. Several flights were reportedly delayed because of the evacuation.

Witnesses at the airport told DPA that passengers had been sent out of the building, and that the atmosphere during the evacuation was calm. No information.Thousands passengers don’t know where to go.
Frankfurt Airport is Europe’s fourth busiest, with a capacity of about 65million passengers a year.
