Nearly immediately after the fight, FOX Sports’ Ariel Helwani caught up with McGregor on his way out of the arena.

JUST days after he rocked the UFC with a victory over featherweight champion Conor McGregor, No. 5 ranked lightweight Nate Diaz’s future is uncertain. He followed this up nicely when the action hit the ground with a sneaky choke from behind to force the fighting Irish’s hand to tap out as he claimed a spectacular victory that will push him to main event status.
In one of the most anticipated fights in UFC history, Diaz was taking a beating from McGregor throughout the first round. Conor McGregor still has plans to fight in UFC 200 on July 9, but he is likely to return to the 145lb division to defend his featherweight belt after that one.
Aldo tweeted at McGregor, “see you at #UFC200” following UFC 196.
After a cagey first round in which few significant blows were landed, the 34-year-old Holm was in trouble in the second round but managed to survive by keeping Tate at bay with her longer reach.
Sonnen believes that McGregor mentally cracked just like Mike Tyson did in his fight with Evander Holyfield.
“She’s scheduled to not come back until October or November but it doesn’t mean I can’t ask”, White said.
Holly lost her bought in the 5 and final round by a rear naked choke, which she thought she was going to get out of.
For the record, Aldo has started the trash talk via Twitter, which McGregor didn’t take too kindly.
McGregor, whose brash defiance has seen him challenge retired boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr and virtually everyone under (and not under) the sun, is being humble in defeat.
“These things happen. I’ll learn and I’ll grow” , he said. “It’s easier to go in there and fight a guy you know you handled, you know you beat”, Edgar said in an interview with ESPN.
