The stand-off started when police were called to a home in Dandenong Road East last night following reports a man was armed with a knife about 5.30pm.

One of the women, a 37-year-old from Frankston, has been taken to Frankston Hospital with what is believed to be stab wounds.

He’s reportedly asked police to bring him beers and also expressed a desire for the drug ice.

Police plan to question Trevor in relation to the stabbing in Seaford on Monday morning, which has left a 45-year-old man fighting for his life.

A photo published by News Corp of the man seemed to show him holding two kitchen knives.

Up to a dozen shots were heard about 7.20am on Tuesday at a Frankston home, more than 12 hours after police began negotiating with a man armed with a knife.

Police said earlier the four weren’t hostages but were “unable to leave”.

The spokesman said while the Frankston siege was ongoing, police were hoping for a “peaceful resolution”.

It is believed the four people inside the property are not assisting police, and it is understood police are not treating the incident as a hostage situation.

The man requested beer, cigarettes and “shard”, a street term for the drug ice, News Corp reported.

“I’m not surrendering…I need to figure out how that plays out”.

‘I’ve done nothing. I’m not keen to go to jail’.
