Fred Savage, Cobie Smulders, Keegan- Michael Key to star in Netflix comedy

According to a report from Variety, Netflix ordered a new comedy series called Friends from College starring Keegan-Michael Key and Cobie Smulders.

“Nick is a comedic mastermind”. Nick Stoller, who directed “Neighbors” and its sequel “Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising”, and Francesca Delbanco are the executive producers and writers of the series. Covering interwoven and oftentimes complicated relationships between its principles, the series is a comedic exploration of old friendships, former romantic entanglements and balancing adult life with nostalgia for the past.

This new ensemble comedy has no premiere date as of yet, but production is scheduled to start in NY this fall.

Mr. Stoller has penned several comedies, including films such as the Neighbors franchise, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and The Five Year Engagement.

Will you be tuning in to Friends from College when it hits Netflix? It is reported that she will be writing and executive producing the season alongside Stoller.
