Shake Shack opened its first location in Manhattan’s Madison Square in 2004 and has grown to be a fairly major burger chain, with dozens of locations throughout the tri-state. “Here’s to bringing more Shacks to local communities around the world!”
The company said to celebrate the moment, the first 100 guests at Shake Shacks worldwide, with the exception of stadiums and ballparks, will get a free single ShackBurger.
Shake Shack is widely recognized with revitalizing the “better fast food” movement with its antibiotic and hormone-free meats, cage-free chickens and craft beer at select locations. The others can be found in Chestnut Hill (49 Boylston Street); Dedham (226 Legacy Place); Harvard Square (92 Winthrop Street); and Back Bay (234 Newbury Street).

Shake Shack is shaking things up with free burgers. The Coppa burger (pictured below) will be available at all MA locations from Tuesday, August 16th to Sunday, August 21st. There are also several locations in Europe and Asia.
