“Financial aid can be the difference between whether a student is able to go to college or not, and often students and parents assume that filling out the forms will be hard”, said Reginald Peters, college and career readiness coordinator. But for priority consideration for aid available through the State of MI, many colleges and universities have an earlier deadline. Previously, when students sent their FAFSAs to multiple colleges and universities, these schools could see the other institutions on the mailing list. Delta College will have a team of financial aid advisors on-hand to assist parents and seniors in their submission of the 2016-17 FAFSA. Local financial aid professionals will offer one-on-one, confidential support to anyone planning to attend college.

The federal deadline for the FAFSA is different than state deadlines and varies state to state. The federal deadline on the form is June 30. Representatives fielded questions and helped families complete the application.
College Goal Sunday is from 2 – 4 p.m.at both UC Clermont and UC Blue Ash, along with many other locations throughout Ohio. In addition to the FAFSA, the office also encourages continuing students and first-year applicants to apply for scholarships. The FAFSA is the federal application that is required to receive federal financial aid, including the Federal Pell Grant and student loans, as well as the need-based state grants.
