Regardless of whether it’s your type of game style, Apex looks like a great for those interested in playing a realistic racing game on PC or those looking to trial and get a feel for the Forza game franchise.
The original Forza Motorsport 6 was released back past year for the Xbox One, and Microsoft will be bringing a slim version of the racer to PC.
The simulation racing juggernaut Forza Motorsport will be heading into PC territory for the first time in the form of Forza Motorsport 6: Apex.
Now that Microsoft has laid the groundwork, every new Forza Motorsport racing game will ship on both Windows 10 and Xbox, said Forza series creative director Dan Greenawalt.
Microsoft wants to bring its Xbox One games, at least, the ones that it controls, exclusively to the Windows 10 Store.
In another announcement, Microsoft said it is launching a new Porsche Expansion for Forza Motorsport 6. This means that Forza players will be able to use the auto before buyers in real life will be able to physically drive it. It’s being developed by Turn 10 Studios which was also responsible for the Xbox One version of the game.
The new game features a selection of 63 handpicked Forza cars which players can unlock through the new Spotlight Series and Showcase Tour modes.
Adding extra intrigue to the firm’s cross-platform plans, Xbox chief Phil Spencer has also suggested that the future of Xbox hardware could evolve to keep pace with today’s PCs.
Much like yesterday’s news about the Microsoft HoloLens, this isn’t a leak as much as it is an American outlet getting the embargo time wrong.

“One of our ongoing missions at Turn 10 Studios is to foster the merging of automotive culture with gaming culture”. Still, Microsoft wants you on Windows 10, and it wants you to buy Windows games. If it throws a few freebies your way to do so, then that’s good, right?
