The free event is being held at the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. A program will immediately follow the march at Payne Chapel AME Church, where B. Wayne McLaughlin will be the featured speaker. “Youth of all color need to understand the life and work of Dr. King’ and just not understand it but pattern their lives after him when it comes to non-violence and peace”.

The city of Romulus, Romulus Community Schools and the Romulus Ministerial Alliance will join hands in an effort to honor the life of Martin Luther King Jr.in a march.

DSU keynote speaker France Davis, vice chairman of the Utah State Board of Regents, will speak Tuesday, Jan. 19, at noon in the Gardner Center Lounge.
