Free trade warrior Mike Pence now ‘questions the wisdom’ of TPP, NAFTA

Then Donald Trump – who has made criticism of free trade a cornerstone of his campaign (He frequently refers to NAFTA as “one of the worst economic deals ever made.”) – picked Pence as his running mate.

Trump stripped The Post of press credentials in June, calling the newspaper “phony” and “dishonest”, but Post reporters had previously been able to cover his events by entering as regular members of the crowd, even if they were barred from designated media areas.

A short time later, officials say, DelReal came in through the general admission door and he was stopped by the event staff.

He said he was patted down as officials looked for his cell phone and eventually was told to leave.

DelReal made a decision to cave in to the security official’s request and put his cell phone and laptop in his vehicle and came back in line where he was detained and invasively patted down by security personnel. When DelReal asked whether others could attend the rally with their cellphones, he said the unidentified official replied, “Not if they work for The Washington Post”. “They said, all the people we compete with are already manufacturing in Mexico, and we’re just going to go there”.

A Wisconsin law enforcement official says he doesn’t know why a Washington Post reporter was denied entry to a campaign rally near Milwaukee for Republican vice presidential nominee Mike Pence.

“I hope I live to see the day that we restore the sanctity of life back to the center of American law”.

Pence spokesman Marc Lotter tells the Post the campaign is “looking into the alleged incident”. “That’s why we have to put a Republican in the White House”. “They’re going to have such problems”.

Pence was critical of his Democratic counterpart Tim Kaine, who has served as governor and a federal lawmaker for the state of Virginia, and said unemployment nearly doubled in his state under his tenure.
