A small India-based company, Ringing Bells, is launching the cheapest smartphone to have ever gone on sale today.
According to the company Freedom 251 will be priced at 251, which is the least price for any smartphone in the world. Earlier the phone was expected to be priced at around Rs 500, but Ringing Bells has literally halved that amount.
The new Freedom 251 smartphone will be formerly launched by tonight by Indian Defense Minister Manohar Parrikar, which gives the whole thing more credibility. A $4 smartphone will bring mobile phones to much more Indians that live on low incomes. The Freedom 251 is undoubtedly the cheapest 3G smartphone in the market.
