Freezing drizzle, flurries possible for Wednesday’s commute

Temperatures are expected to stay above freezing so any precipitation from Wednesday night through Friday afternoon will be rain.

Today will be cloudy with drizzle at times and some light snow.

Saturday night: A 20 percent chance of snow, low around 8.

The majority of the rain falls Wednesday night into Thursday morning with accumulations ranging from.

Friday night: A 50 percent chance of rain and snow before midnight, snow after midnight, low around 30. The low will be in the lower 30s.

The precipitation will also become increasingly light as it moves into drier air over Green Country, limiting the amount that will actually reach the ground.

Saturday starts out with a chance for light snow.

Northern Iowa will be a little cooler and that is where we will see some freezing drizzle possible.

Monday will be mostly sunny, with a high in the upper teens.
