French striker Loic Remy joins Crystal Palace on loan from Chelsea

Crystal Palace have secured the services of Loic Remy on a season-long loan from Premier League rivals Chelsea.

The Palace manager is set to agree a season-long loan deal with Chelsea for the out-of-favour striker.

The France worldwide joined Chelsea from Queens Park Rangers in the summer of 2014 but has failed to make an impact in West London.

France global Remy, who scored once in 13 appearances for the Blues last season, is not part of their new manager Antonio Conte’s plans and is likely to play more regularly at Selhurst Park.

Palace have an option to make the move for Remy permanent next summer.

Pardew already broke the club’s transfer record this window, bringing in striker Christian Benteke from Liverpool in a £32million deal.

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has revealed that he is close to making a few more additions to his squad. The striker briefly returned to Chelsea before joining Norwich City on another loan deal, but was limited to just seven appearances.
