Friday the 13th: The Game gets a Gory Trailer
The newest trailer for Friday the 13th: The Game released at PAX West 2016, gives horror fans exactly what developers promised, blood and gore, and lots of it. Not only does the footage have grainy, neon VHS effects and a power metal panache, but also, most importantly, it shows off some of Friday the 13th: The Game’s gruesome kills from the title’s main character Jason Voorhees. Brutal, classic deliciously 1980s-style Jason kills.

If those executions seem a little excessive, it’s because they’re the work of Tom Savini, a man who’s worked on the Friday the 13th film franchise along with other films like Dawn of the Dead with George Romero.
Check out the must-watch kills trailer below!
The brutality on show in the trailer sort-of reminds us of the sort of bloody havoc you can engage in with Voorhees and co.in Mortal Kombat XL. we wonder how much inspiration Savini took from the closest thing we’ve had to a Friday The 13th game so far. For the uninitiated, it is a multiplayer video game where one player takes on the role of serial killer Jason while the others play as campers.
Furthermore, by building a unique product that ditches a standard win system in favor of focusing on players needing to simply survive, the Kickstarter sensation will more than likely deliver the goods upon its launch date next month.

The game will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
