Meek lives in a trailer in Red Bank with his mother, two brothers and Fry.
The day after investigators said Roof killed nine worshippers at the Calhoun Street church, Federal Bureau of Investigation agents searched the home. Both are felonies.
According to The Post story from this weekend, Roof told his roommates that he planned to “do something crazy” in the days before the shooting.

Mr. Roof and Meek had been friends in school, but had drifted apart, Meek said.
Joseph Meek Jr. had given the gunman, 21-year-old Dylann Roof, a place to stay in the weeks before the killings at a historic church in Charleston, according to reports.
In spite of Roof’s disturbing remarks, Meek said, “I didn’t take him serious”. The guest drank heavily, spoke about his belief in segregation, and boasted about needing to do “something insane “.
In addition, the document states, Meek had knowledge “of the actual commission of a felony” and “did not, as soon as possible, make known the same to some judge or other person in civil authority”.
It’s unclear what Meek is being charged with.
Federal officers arrested the roommate of suspected Charleston, S.C., shooter Dylann Roof on Thursday and unsealed charges against him on Friday. It’s unclear if it related to Meek.
But Konzny said she is angry and that her son has been unfairly targeted.
Hodges left open the possibility that Meek eventually could be represented by a court-appointed federal public defender at taxpayer expense. “He knows he didn’t do anything wrong”. “He shouldn’t have gotten arrested”. You can’t tell me you would.
Meek is on probation, having pleaded guilty earlier this year to possessing a stolen vehicle, according to Lexington County court records. Authorities gave him until August . 21 to respond to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Columbia. Moore is not affiliated with the case. Meek and his girlfriend, Lindsey Fry, had even allegedly helped Dylann Roof by hiding his gun the night before the massacre.
Meek called authorities when he heard about the shooting, CNN said.
At first, Meek said, he did not take Roof seriously. Federal prosecutors have yet to announce whether they will follow suit or not.
