Friendly fire from Saudi-led airstrikes kills 20 in Yemen

Hadi and other members of the government fled to Aden but were forced into exile in Saudi Arabia in February.

Aden had been the final refuge for Hadi’s government, which was driven out of the capital Sanaa by the Houthi rebels last September.

Anti-Houthi forces continued to make gains on Thursday, fully surrounding the provincial capital of Lahej province, Zinjibar, north-east of Aden and massing their forces before an expected push toward the central city of Taez.
