From campaign to court: Trump reports for jury duty in NYC
Donald Trump waves as he leaves for lunch after being summoned for jury duty in New York, Monday, August 17, 2015. Scott Walker embraced some of the plan Monday, but other contenders, such as Chris Christie and Carly Fiorina, dismissed elements as unworkable. Jeff Sessions (R-AL), who he called “the gatekeeper for any possibility of immigration reform”, giving a “full-throated endorsement”, to GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump’s immigration plan means it is now the “blueprint for Republicans”.

Mr Trump later took a 20-minute break to talk on his phone in the hall. I would hate to be one of the soldiers deployed to Iraq to say, ‘Hey, we’re here to get your oil.’ That’s a good way “to start World War III”, he said.
He’d also try to deny citizenship to the children of illegal immigrants who are born in this country.
Christie said during a CNN interview that a wall or fence along parts of the border, especially in more urban and difficult-to-control areas, was conceivable, but “not the entire border“. “It’s unworkable. It makes no sense”.
The 69-year-old real estate magnate and would-be politician reported late, arriving eight minutes behind schedule at 9:08 am (1308 GMT) dressed in a sharp blue suit and striped tie. Trump said could have fought against serving but decided against it.
The businessman’s limo arrived in the morning at the foot of the courthouse steps familiar to viewers of TV’s “Law & Order”, and he was met by a throng of camera crews, reporters and onlookers.
Other prospective jurors found the experience brightened up an otherwise boring day. In the end, he wasn’t.
He took a break from nonstop campaigning for the GOP nomination to fulfill his civic responsibilities.
Trump seemed mostly unfazed by the circus.
Immigration policy has been the epicenter of Trump’s political establishment-shaking campaign.
“For many years, Mexico’s leaders have been taking advantage of the United States by using illegal immigration to export the crime and poverty in their own country (as well as in other Latin American countries)”, Trump wrote in the first position paper posted on his website Sunday.
“They have to go”, Trump said, adding: “What they’re doing, they’re having a baby”. According to the poll, a small majority of Republicans fall into the same category. But King is also close with Sen. They never made their way to Trump, Cohen said. “That’s just not practical”. For the Republican Party, though, this presents a particular problem. He said the cost of the wall “pales mightily in comparison to what American taxpayers spend every single year on dealing with the fallout of illegal immigration on their communities, schools and unemployment offices”. “And some, I assume, are good people”.

“I think it is constitutionally sound to pass legislation and end birthright citizenship”. If we do not, our Party’s appeal will continue to shrink to its core constituencies only.
