Frys.com Open Betting Tips
This week the guys will be in Napa, California for The Frys.com open. It rained 12 of the 14 days I was home.

Ryan Palmer (38) – Palmer recorded just one top 10 in his last 10 starts last season, but he usually performs better at the beginning of the season, which we realize is still pretty much the end of last season.
As is the case every year at the Frys.com, there will be a lot of new faces – the 144-player field includes 34 graduates of the Web.com satellite tour, including leading money victor Chez Reavie and Web.com Tour Championship titlist Emiliano Grillo. He is the 7th most expensive golfer this week at DraftKings, but he is worth a play in your lineups in my opinion.
While the world number 1 will soon have to give up his coveted world number 1 ranking to his rival Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy isn’t feeling too anxious at all. If you look at his recent performance graph it’s a roller coaster, but over his last three tournaments he has found his form again it seems.
McIlroy was one of eight players to play in the Turkish Airlines World Golf Final a few years ago and the commish allowed them to do so as long as they guaranteed to play in the Frys.com Open at least once during the next three years. He ranks 36 in Strokes Gained Tee to Green and T57 in Greens in Regulation.
Brandt Snedeker (30) – Snedeker was streaky last season. I will make Finau a pick this week at DraftKings.
“I played well here past year”.
Tiger Woods originally committed to the field, but he recently underwent his second back surgery in as many years, forcing him to miss the event. That included a 73 on the first day of the tournament, so if he shot par there he would have tied for the lead at -11. “You want to work harder, hit more balls and try to keep getting better”.
Hideki Matsuyama ($10,800) – The third highest priced player this week at DraftKings is Matsuyama and deservingly so. He has finished in the top 20 in four of his last five events.
Well, hope you enjoyed the offseason, because the FedEx Cup and the PGA Tour are back for the group of events previously known as the “Fall Series”. First, there is the chase to see who will actually play on the national teams when golf returns to the Summer Olympics in Brazil next year.
