WCTV is reporting that The Florida State Attorney’s Office confirmed that Florida State University football player Dalvin Cook is being investigated for battery.

Cook is the second Florida State player this month facing a potential charge for an incident in Tallahassee. Meggs reviewed photos of the woman’s injuries and told ESPN he “found the women to be very credible”.

In a heavily redacted police report obtained by the Tallahassee Democrat, the victim was listed as intoxicated and suffered minor abrasion/bruises from the incident, which occurred outside of Clyde’s & Costellos on South Adams Street.

The report also says the woman plans to press charges. The report did not list a suspect, but according to the Democract, the victim was able to identify one.

Johnson was dismissed from the FSU football program on Monday, after video of the incident, which featured him punching the female in the face, went viral. Cook rushed for 1,008 yards and eight touchdowns, and he added 203 receiving yards. He saw extensive playing time as a freshman in 2014 and was named the MVP of the ACC Championship Game after rushing for 177 in the Noles’ victory over Georgia Tech.
