FSU to visit Louisville in ACC showdown
What I’m looking for is if Louisville is for real, if Oklahoma can get a big win over Ohio State, and if Ole Miss can give Alabama head coach Nick Saban his first ever three straight losses against one opponent as an Alabama coach.

And Florida State is no Syracuse on defense.
Despite having the toughest remaining strength of schedule in FBS, Florida State has the best chance of Power 5 teams to finish undefeated.
Ohio State’s defense forced six turnovers against Tulsa last week and have only given up 13 points in its first two games. The game was played in a downpour of rain that lasted through the overtime period, with Louisville coming away with a 26-20 victory. “He’s much better in the passing game, much more relaxed, more poised”.
No one knew it then, but that game provided a glimpse of the potential for today’s much-anticipated nationally televised showdown between second-ranked FSU and No. 10 Louisville.
Welcome to The Weekly Briefing, your Thursday rundown of college football’s biggest stories waiting to happen.
But with each of the top three teams on the road this week against ranked foes, the Week 3 slate looks like it’ll shape the landscape of the 2016 college football season. Check out the fantastic GameDay signs featured at Louisville.
The Seminoles are hardly a one-man team but they will miss James’ talent against Louisville and quarterback Lamar Jackson.
I think there’s more leeway for Jackson to lose and still post big numbers than there is for the FSU Heisman contenders. While that may be enough to dominate defenses like Charlotte and Syracuse, the Seminoles will produce a much more hard task for Jackson. 156 yards on 10 carries and a touchdown was the stat-line for Radcliff against the Orange. Jackson will have to take control from the get-go and spread the ball around to his receivers to tire out the FSU defense. The last time Oklahoma and Ohio State played each other was in 1983 and they split for one win each in two all-time matchups. If the Cardinals win this game, they could be a threat in their division.
The Seminoles rallied in the season opener against Ole Miss, bouncing back in the second half scoring a huge victory, 45-34.
Here are three must watch games this Saturday – with picks for all three. The Florida victory will always be special because the Cardinals took down a national championship-caliber team at the end of the season in a David vs. Goliath situation. Because Louisville QB Lamar Jackson is so elusive, the FSU defensive backs will have to cover to help the pass rush. Lamar Jackson has put forth some record-setting performances in the first two weeks for Louisville, earning him Heisman Trophy hype, while freshman Deondre Francois has impressed in his first two collegiate starts. Jacques Patrick added 26 yards and a touchdown. Auden Tate had 13 yards and a touchdown. The Seminoles won both meetings. “He’s just evolving and developing as a player in different ways”.

The forecast has bounced around all week leading up to kickoff from spotty rain to all-out thunderstorms for the duration. Jackson could prove me wrong, but the windows to throw down the field in this game are not going to be almost as open as what he’s seen in the first two games. Due to a 4th down intentional grounding play that somehow gave Central Michigan an untimed down, the Chippewas were able to pull off a hail mary touchdown play to win the game. Regardless, whether they have these defenders or not, it is finally Louisville’s time to climb another rung on the ACC ladder. But it might be noticed the most by fans watching on television.
