Fujifilm makes camera and lens updates to its X Series

To enable easy self-portraits, the X-A3 features an LCD screen that tilts 180 degrees without being blocked by the camera, thus helping to maintain 100% visibility. The top cover, front plate and top dials are made of aluminium while the faux leather texture on the hand grip adds to its visual appeal. This camera comes with several improvements over its predecessor such as better autofocus, 24.2 megapixel APS-C sensor, and a sensor that turns up 180 degrees. Fujifilm has also added more of its vaunted film simulations – PRO Neg.Hi and PRO Neg.Std, most notably – to bring the total number available on the X-A3 to 11. The X-A3’s native sensitivity range of ISO 200 to ISO 6400 can be extended to ISO 12800 and ISO 25600 to minimise camera shake in dim lighting. This is complemented by 10 advanced filters like Fisheye and Cross Screen. It takes SDXC memory cards and includes a built-in pop-up flash. The X-A3 has been perfectly created to take “self portraits” with a compact and lightweight body. Other features are eye and face detection features that were also included on the X-A2. The camera is available in Silver, Brown, and Pink starting October, in the US.

Fujifilm has announced the X-A3, a new version of the entry-level model in its X-series of mirrorless interchangeable lens cameras. This lens is weather and dust resistant and can operate at temperatures as low as -10°C, making it ideal for outdoor photography.

The Fujifilm XF23mm f/2 R WR lens will be on sale in the United Kingdom from September 2016. The aspherical elements are used as part of the focusing group to minimise performance fluctuations between different focal distances.

The outside is constructed from metal and the aperture ring and focus ring have been created to make them easy to use. Optional accessories for the XF23mmF2 R WR include a vented metal hood (LH-XF35-2), which is also compatible with the XF35mmF2 R WR lens.
