FULHAM have sacked boss Kit Symons in the aftermath of Saturday’s 5-2 home defeat to Birmingham City.
Kit Symons was sacked as manager of Fulham on Sunday and the club are hoping to appoint to appoint a new boss before their next game with Alan Curbishley now in charge of training at the club.
“It is now time to take Fulham to the higher level of success that we expect from our First Team Manager and our players, and our supporters here in London and throughout the world deserve”.
Former Brentford boss Uwe Rosler is one of three current contenders for the Fulham manager’s job, but Nigel Pearson is top of the club’s wanted list.

Symons had only been in the job a little over a year, the former coach himself taking over from Felix Magath after the German had failed to arrest an evident side at the club.
Fulham now lie 12th in the table, eight points adrift of the play-off zone. However, he could now be the subject of a tug-of-war between the two West London clubs who will be looking to make a appointment during the worldwide break.

Chief football officer Mike Rigg is believed to be heading up the search for a successor to Symons, who had his contract terminated.
