‘Fuller House’ Cast: Candace Cameron-Bure, Andrea Barber, Jodie Sweetin & More

A year ago the pop culture universe seemed to go a little insane when it was announced that Netflix would reboot ’90s sit-com Full House with their new entity Fuller House.

Do you plan on watching Fuller House? “They move into the house and they have three kids that they’re raising”.

Thus, Candace Cameron Bure (as D.J.), Jodie Sweetin (as Stephanie), and Andrea Barber (as Kimmy Gibbler) are the stars of this show, along with a passel of new kids to take care of. “And then, it ended up being, you know seven years for me”, she said. For those who haven’t seen “Fuller House”, beware: spoilers ahead!

It’s interesting that “Fuller House”, developed by Stamos and original show creator Jeff Franklin, would end up at Netflix, but the streamer has already revived “Arrested Development”, and “Gilmore Girls” is being developed next. They said they were too busy and want to focus on their clothing brands and their various business in NY. After Danny explains that Michelle is in NY running her fashion empire, all of the cast mates ad-lib, shooting off zingers about the missing Michelle amongst themselves. Although you totally have to agree with the twins explanation of the super bad timing for them, the show still slipped in an obvious (like staring right into the camera kind of obvious) reference that was nearly more of a hint or even perhaps a plea to the famous Olsens.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, the twins who each played the role of baby sister Michelle, declined to participate.

Also set to reprise their roles from the beloved original program are John Stamos, Bob Saget, Dave Coulier and Lori Loughlin.

One episode of “Fuller House” even joked about their absence. Heres how he reacted when the first promo for Fuller House came out: This is so stupid, but it was when I saw the first promo for Fuller House. The same goes for Saget, who has spent his post-Full House career trying to muss up his squeaky-clean dad image (see: Half Baked, The Aristocrats, and his entire stand-up career). The show shamelessly recycles plots from the original, but at least acknowledges it. Jackson runs away in episode two after learning he has to share a room with his sibling, just as D.J. did years earlier.

Cameron kept her answer very PC, saying she doesn’t hear the shady comments because the women are “all afraid they’re going to offend” her. Veterinarian D.J. Tanner-Fuller is recently widowed and living in San Francisco. The producers and show makers understand that the demographic has gotten older, so the jokes are more adult-oriented.

“Fuller House” is a little too full
