Disaster loans are now available for residents and small businesses in 27 Indiana counties that suffered flood damage in June and July from severe weather, Gov. Mike Pence’s office said today. Eligible business can borrow up to $2 million to pay fixed debts, payroll, and other bills.
The SBA says homeowners can apply for loans of up to $200,000 to fix or replace damaged real estate, and up to $40,000 to fix or replace damaged personal property.
“Low-interest federal disaster loans are available to businesses of all sizes, most private nonprofit organizations, homeowners and renters whose property was damaged or destroyed by this disaster”, said SBA’s St. Louis District Director Dennis Melton.
