Furious woman confronts dad dragging daughter through Wal-Mart by her hair
In the original Facebook post, which has now been shared more than 200,000 times, fellow shopper Erika Burch said that she confronted the man after seeing him dragging his daughter along. Burch began to take photos with her phone and then told the man to let the little girl go.

“Now this baby had to go home with this monster thinking that nobody cared about her and it’s okay for this animal to pull her by the hair of her head!” wrote Burch before urging people to share the post and contact the Cleveland Police Department.
Burch quickly snapped a few photos and told the man to let the girl go but he told her to mind her own business.
But Burch refused to stand down and got the cops in Walmart involved.
As luck would have it there was a police officer inside the Walmart store. “Right now, this little girl is my business and you need to let her hair go now!” she reported saying.
Broussard also said that he appreciates Burch for speaking up when she saw something risky unfolding. She said that the man replied that he grew up “fine” implying similar discipline was inflicted upon him. So far it has been shared more than 15,000 times and has over 161,000 likes. The post also has almost 10,000 comments.
Cleveland Police Chief Darrel Broussard told local affiliate ABC13 investigators are meeting with the family. They state that the incident is still being investigated, reports WGNTV. Parents should be able to discipline their child as longs as, like the police officer said, no bodily harm. He added that it is important that people who see something wrong either speak up or notify authorities.

Burch still can’t believe this type of abuse occurred in a place as busy as Walmart. “You can discipline a child without dragging them by the hair on their head, especially in Wal-Mart”, she said.
