The entire range of Patanjali products will be available across Big Bazaar and subsequently through its other chains such as KBâs, Aadhaar and Nilgiris in over 245 cities and towns across India.
“I believe that Patan-jali products could easily achieve that”.
We have come up with many products like choco, cornflakes, mucelli and oats. We thought there was not a better person than Biyani who is the king of retail in India.
After the Future Group deal, the Patanjali may also begin the planning to sell its products with e-retailers of the country. We are using rice bran oil which is good for heart, brain, body and overall health. “We just want swadeshi products to be as popular”, he added.
Announcing plans to enter noodles segment, Ramdev said: “Our effort is to promote “swadeshi” and give a tough fight to the MNCs”.
Haridwar: Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali Ayurveda will release its instant noodles on October 15 at a cost of Rs 15, a move seen as an attempt to catch the business sector lost by Maggi – the business sector pioneer till a couple of months back that needed to go off the racks taking after administrative orders.
Market analysts say that Patanjali’s products can pose risk to competition in the FMCG space as they are priced lower than those of other players in the market.
According to a report by multinational brokerage company CLSA, Patanjali is bigger than companies like Emami and Jyothy Labs and is “perhaps the fastest growing fast moving consumer company in India”. Patanjali Group is targeting revenues of about Rs. 5,000-10,000 crore in the next few years.
