Gabrielle Union Shades Stacey Dash in the Best Way Possible

Don’t look for actress and Fox News Channel contributor Stacey Dash to be working on any more BET shows for a while.

Dash tried to defend her comments in a blog post titled, “Why I Say What I Say, Even Though I Drive Whoopi, BET and Most Other Black People Crazy”.

“Oscars are awarded to the actors and actresses who excel… not the audience”, Dash wrote in response.

43-year-old Union referred to Dash as a “crazy lady”, according toPerez Hilton, and suggested what she thinks will keep Dash quiet once and for all. “I heard of a insane lady once, but I don’t know what her name is”, Union said during an event at the Sundance Festival.

People were already upset with the Oscars’ lack of diversity in their nominations, and even more with her commentary and stupidity.

“If you don’t see yourself reflected in mainstream awards, you tend to create your own”, Union added. Gabrielle also celebrated another victory… her movie, “The Birth of a Nation” and a record-setting day at Sundance.

“I think it’s ludicrous, because we have to make up our minds”, said Dash, 49, an alumna of Paramus High School. He said: “I don’t want a Black History Month”. Not only in the black community, we need to talk about them in every community in America. Is she related to Damon Dash?

Well, seems like Stacey thought his words were the Gospel as she continued in her blog, “Damn straight, Morgan Freeman!”. Apparently Dash believes that only platforms that are inclusive of everyone are needed. Dash also wrote that she was expressing a viewpoint shared by Morgan Freeman, and maintained she deserves an apology from those who have been critical of her comments. You want true equality? “I would have way preferred, if she had that opinion, to say it on BET, or have a conversation with someone black and let someone black have a conversation back with her as opposed to some white man nodding his head”, Dash argued.
