After her showstopping tribute to the late David Bowie at this month’s Grammy Awards, Lady Gaga is in the midst of a major comeback.

“The song is resonant for sexual assault, and resonant for anything hard: maybe something traumatic happened; this song can help”, Warren blogged on The Huffington Post.

Warren said she took a risk calling Gaga and asking her to work on the song.

The song “Writing’s On The Wall” has been sung by Sam Smith.

Vice President Joe Biden will appear on the Oscars stage Sunday night to introduce Lady Gaga’s performance of “Til It Happens To You”.

Though it’s somewhat surprising to hear women speak out about sexual assault in the context of the Oscars red carpet, Lady Gaga has spoken openly about her own experiences as a victim before. Now the issue has the media talking about it, hopefully in a way I believe it deserves to be talked about. “He wrote me because I got this nomination and I thought, ‘That’s so sweet.’ You would think he would have something better to do with his time”.

“She put enough of herself in this to where I felt OK about it. I felt that it was a collaboration”, Perry said.

The pair, who have known each other for almost 20 years, were catching up at SC&L’s annual fete, which celebrates the music nominees for the Academy Awards.

The Oscars will are at 7 p.m. right here on WLOS.
