Gal Gadot: 5 things to know about the new Wonder Woman
The talk of the town right now may be the Caped Crusader and the Man of Steel in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but one of the film’s highlights is Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman.

A new image for director Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman has been released, featuring the mighty Amazons of the Island of Themyscira.
Which Wonder Woman costume over the years is your favorite? Wonder Woman fight scene is the best part of the movie. It wasn’t much of a stretch either, considering Gadot served as a combat instructor in the Israeli army for two years.
She first turns Bruce Wayne’s (Ben Affleck) head at a fundraiser in a slinky gown embellished with a golden half collar.
Her friend Amy Adams, who reprises her Lois Lane in Batman v Superman, thinks Gadot has it under control. But… the Wonder Woman you’re going to see in “Batman v Superman” is a very different Wonder Woman that you will see in the standalone movie. “Came back to life, tried to pull off my coolest voice, saying “Wonder Woman, yeah yeah, I’ve heard of her”.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the Amazonian trio are jointly responsible for raising Wonder Woman… and are keen to keep her safe.
Overall Winner: Gadot. Okay, so Gal’s 21st-century Wonder Woman could wipe the floor with Lynda Carter’s take, but we still love vintage Diana, spins and all.
“Being an actress, my responsibility is to not pay too much attention to all the noise around me, but to pay attention to the script, to the director, and protect the character”, Gadot told reporters recently.
She was most excited to meet Batman, she said. “She is one of the most powerful female heroes that we have, she symbolizes so much strength and passion, and she is a role model for women of all ages”.
What did he want you to embody as Wonder Woman for “Batman v Superman”?

I’ve learned a lot. While we will discuss both, the focus will be more on the “newer” version, which DC opted to use for the films. It’s amusing because I’m going through an opposite process. “I thought it would be wonderful to include her as a way to introduce the character into this world”.
