Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot shared a new look at her warrior princess of the Amazons, and it raises a few questions.
Other members of the cast include The Office’s Lucy Davis, Trainspotting’s Ewen Bremner and American Hustle’s Saïd Taghmaoui. The costume more closely matches what we typically associate with Wonder Woman, featuring a familiar patriotic theme of red, white and blue. She will be joined by Star Trek’s Chris Pine, House of Cards’ Robin Wright and Harry Potter’s David Thewlis.
Who’s excited for Wonder Woman on the big screen? In addition, there was also a rumor that the villain in Wonder Woman will be Ares, but we haven’t gotten confirmation of that either. Pictures, which said in a press release that principal photography on the film has begun.
The film is being directed by Monster’s Patty Jenkins and she will be the first woman to direct a comic book super hero film. Wonder Woman will follow Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (in which the character first appears) and Suicide Squad, offering audiences a very different kind of superhero movie from what we’ve seen previously from the DC library. Joining Jenkins behind the camera are director of photography Matthew Jensen, Oscar-nominated production designer Aline Bonetto, Oscar-winning editor Martin Walsh, and Oscar-winning costume designer Lindy Hemming.

Warner Bros. and everyone involved has been mum about the plot of the upcoming blockbuster, but recent rumors have stated that Ares will play a large behind-the-scenes role in the film.
