With Nintendo’s March 2017 console expected to converge its home and portable console expertise, dovetailing the Wii and DS legacies, what better way to keep the existing 3DS’s fortunes flying than a new galactic look?

We couldn’t help but be amused at some of the similarities – such as purple constellations in each – albeit one is a cheap add on and one is an official Nintendo system. And while we’d love a third, we’re not sure why Nintendo has released this fresh design now. As you would assume based on its name, the Galaxy Style New Nintendo 3DS XL offers yet another color variation for those who aren’t happy with the company’s previous models. The new Nintendo 3DS XL comes with a Stylus, 4GB microSDHC card (installed), Battery (installed), Six AR Cards and built-in software.
