The new tablet comes a month after the duo launched the 8-inch, $400 Galaxy Tab S2 Nook, which followed the $150 Galaxy Tab 4 Nook tablet and $250 10-inch alternative that launched a year ago.

The report claims that even though Exynos processors in Samsung’s Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge phones didn’t face much criticism, Samsung will opt for more power in its next flagship phone to boost sales. Although not as ubiquitous as the Kindle or iPad, Barnes & Noble has an advantage in its network of bookstores, which offer lifetime in-store support for the device.

Speculation is still circulating about whether Samsung will use a dual-camera setup in its new Galaxy S7
