The actress gave a breakout performance in the Australian horror movie The Badabook. During the Thrones’ play-within-a-show, Davis will take on the role of Cersei Lannister.

In fact, Davis is playing the lead actress in a drama troupe, and her main role in the production mounted by that group is none other than Cersei. Her role on Game of Thrones will be a little bit different.
Davis will play an actress who stars in a play called “The Bloody Hand“, which is meant to mirror the world of Westeros. Davis is dressed like the Queen Regent of the Seven Kingdoms because she is portraying her in a play-within-the-show.
The events are described in an already released chapter of A Song Of Ice And Fire novel, The Winds Of Winter, which is the next installment in the Game Of Thrones saga. Snow’s actor, Kit Harrington, was spotted in Ireland “participating” in a Game of Thrones shoot, according to Movie Web. Besides Davis, Pilou Asbæk has been cast as vicious pirate Euron Greyjoy, Freddie Stroma as the beautifully named Dickon Tarly, and Max Von Sydow as the mystically inclined three-eyed raven. She appeared with Reeves in the “The Matrix Reloaded” and “The Matrix Revolutions” in 2003.
