That’s settled then, we can go and mourn the loss of our favourite character in peace, at least we still have Emilia Clarke look forward to, for now at least… The final word on when to end the series will rest with show-runners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss.

Ever since “Game of Thrones” completed its bloody fifth season, skeptical devotees of HBO’s fantasy hit have continued to wonder: “Is Jon Snow really dead?”

Game of Thrones is an immensely popular series on HBO that has piqued the interest of many viewers.

About Jon Snow’s fate following the season five finale, Lombardo insisted, “Dead is dead is dead”.

Much of the large budget production, based on George RR Martin’s series of books, is being shot in Northern Ireland. Interestingly, it was commonly assumed that Game of Thrones would be ending after Season 7; however, fans were delighted to hear that season eight was in the pipeline.

Lombardo is personally keen into bringing the story to anywhere that David and Dan would want to take it.

At this level, all the main target is on the subsequent few years of the present. “We haven’t had any conversations about that at this point”.
