‘Game of Thrones’ Mobile Game In Line After Pokemon Go Success?
Pokemon Go’s not out in China, and some local conspiracy theorists hope it stays that way as they’re concerned that the game’s location-based play might reveal secret military sites to Western spies.

Nintendo started out in 1889 as a traditional playing-cards maker and hit the world by storm with its series of video game consoles, starting with the Family Computer, or FamiCom for short, in the 1980s.
The game relies on Google services such as Maps.
But for many others in the country, playing is proving a challenge.
If you’re in a hurry to download the Pokemon GO app, then you need to make sure that you don’t download one of the malware injected apps. It is the most shared Android game at The Pirate Bay.
Another location-based augmented reality games by the Niantic Labs, Ingress, divides the players into opposing factions and thus it is not too hard to imagine the Game of Thrones on the same platform as well.
“Be careful, watch out, even if you are in a vehicle, on your feet or on a bicycle, be careful and watch where you’re going, please”.
There are few spaces safe from the reach of the viral game by Nintendo, which has seen its market capitalisation increase by US$9 billion since the app’s popularity spiked last week.
But now that “Pokemon Go” has taken off, there’s little doubt that gamers understand – and adore – augmented features that let them interact with the real world.
Ok, so we understand that you’re supposed to catch Pokemon.
It may mean that Pokemon Go’s further country-based releases will just happen with only mild fanfare involved rather than a media blitz. To do so, players are able to “leave” their strongest Pokemon at the gym to defend it from opposing team members.
In fact, it’s virtually impossible to stop a game that’s gone viral from being shared online.
“Virtual reality is a fun, vibrant niche that will never be mainstream, whereas augmented reality will absolutely be mainstream”, said Dmitri Williams, president of Ninja Metrics, an advanced data science company that works in gaming and retail. While European and Asian countries got official access to Pokemon Go, Canada is still waiting. “We haven’t been here, so it’s gonna be a new experience for us”.
