Game of Thrones Recap: ‘The Broken Man’ S06E07
A while back, showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss let Entertainment Weekly know that Season 6 contains Game of Thrones’ biggest battle scene ever, so this one’s a safe bet. Anyway, despite her “conversion”, we still think she’s got something up her sleeve for the High Sparrow.

Following on from a dramatic Episode 7, The Broken Man, the next instalment of the HBO hit will be one to remember, according to the latest teaser. (Though it doesn’t take a genius to figure out that they wanted food, supplies, and anything else they could scrap from them.) Thankfully, The Hound was far enough away to be spared. In the dungeons of King’s Landing we saw the maesters of the Alchemists’ Guild unleashing wildfire.
“I’m sort of the leader of the people who don’t believe in violence anymore, so obviously I’m not going to last more than one episode”, laughs Ian McShane of his character “Ray”. Even the most ardent fans of Game of Thrones do not know the sure answer to the question “Is Arya Stark dead?”. While the common translation for the German title is “The Battle of the Bastards”, one Reddit user claims it could also translate to mean “Bastardbowl” as well, which is a popular fan-named title. Will tonight’s new episode, “The Broken Man”, push them forward? The Hound died – Sandor Clegane didn’t. For the uninitiated Arya has been stabbed by Waif, while she was eyeing her journey outside Braavos. We’re guessing he’s going to power through it all. And, we also see Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) offering a peace treaty to the Blackfish (Clive Russell). That’s not to say The Broken Man was uneventful.
Sophie Turner said Sansa would probably want herself on the throne with Littlefinger as the hand to the queen, and Maisie Williams wants her character, Arya, to “rise to the top”.

We next see Beric on season three, and he had been recast and looked worse for wear (since he’d been resurrected a few times).
