Game of Thrones returns in April, teases Jon Snow return
Obviously, HBO chose to put Jon’s face on the Game of Thrones Season 6 poster because it would create the most buzz and get fans talking.

And it appears to confirm hopes that Jon Snow did not actually die at the hands of his friend in the Night’s Watch who turned against him in the final moments of the previous season.
But the biggest hint yet that Snow is set to return came when HBO released its promotional poster for Season Six on Tuesday morning (AEST). If you haven’t been watching Game of Thrones (and really, you should), Jon Snow was *spoilers* killed off at the end of Season 5 after his reign as Lord Commander of the Wall ended in mutiny. This was all assuming he was finally dead.
While Harington has been spotted on the set of Game of Thrones Season 6, the newly released teaser poster is the first official confirmation that Harington is back for the new season.
OMG! We can already hear you lamenting us! He was lured out of his office and repeatedly stabbed by the members of the brotherhood, who did not agree with his decision to rescue wildlings from the whitewalkers. We are sure of that.
Game of Thrones fans just might have their wish.
“Let’s just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while, I’ll probably be in my thirties when it’s over”, Kit Harrington aka Jon Snow said in September.
The cable channel’s first teaser for the sixth season of the series features Snow, played by Kit Harington, bloodied in an closeup shot.
The promotional art also reveals that the show will premiere in April, which is the month in which all but one season of the series has had their premieres.

HBO’s “Game of Thrones”, which won the Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series at this year’s Primetime Emmys, will return in April.
