Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 3 Recap
The Lord of Light might have revealed the prince he promised. But he got scared seeing Ser Davos. However, many believed that the secret would come out during Sunday’s episode, titled “Oathbreaker”. Winter’s still coming, after all. I liked “Oathbreaker” much, much better than last week’s “Home”, as strong beats with always-welcome characters like Tyrion and Varys were a blast to watch, and the show’s weakest locations (Dorne, Pyke) were left out entirely.

The answer likely lies in the tower Bran visited this episode in a flashback with the Three-Eyed Raven.
The sixth season of “Game of Thrones” charged forward with a fantastic third episode. Although it’s six against two, Arthur is indeed very good with his swords and is able to take out nearly everyone.
Official Synopsis from HBO: “Daenerys meets her future”.
Back in Meereen, Varys has taken the reins, relegating Tyrion to suffer through small talk with an Unsullied and a reserved handmaiden.
From where I sit, not a whole lot.
# While it seems as though the High Sparrow is trying to brainwash Tommen, Cersei and Jamie land at some political bogwashery as they try to interrupt in getting what’s theirs in King’s Landing.
Bran wasn’t the only Stark with vision this week – Arya (Maisie Williams) finally got hers back after once again proving to Jaqen she was “no one”! With Alliser Thorne and Olly out of the way, first in the firing line would undoubtedly be Walder Frey for the unforgivable events of the Red Wedding, but the Lannisters and Theon Greyjoy could also become targets. I think the temptation now is definitely there.
The evening’s worst storyline turned out to be the one with quite a bit to say about the bigger picture thus far.
The tweet was obviously meant to provoke Game Of Thrones fans as we still have no clue who Jon’s mother is.
Yes, Jon Snow is alive and…not well exactly, but he’s doing alright for a guy who got stabbed a few dozen times and woke up to find that someone gave him a summer bob cut while he was out. This was, of course, before learning of his father’s dishonesty. So when Rickon was first revealed, I was momentarily anticipating some sort of trick at Ramsay’s expense-then he offered Ramsay the decapitated head of Shaggydog, Rickon’s direwolf, and a new alliance was formed.
One popular theory posits that Jon may not actually be the bastard son of Ned Stark (Sean Bean) but may actually be the orphaned son of Lyanna Stark, Ned’s sister and Rhaegar Targaryen. “I thought another one bites the dust”.
And over in Winterfell, two long-lost characters made overdue returns: Rickon and Osha, victims of House Umber’s betrayal, were handed to Ramsay in lieu of a formal oath of fealty.

Ned defeated the Targaryens defending the tower (kinda – this was the scene we saw last night, and yeah, Ned definitely didn’t win in a fair fight), with the only survivors being himself and Howland Reed.
