Hello, citizens of the Realm: this post is about Game of Thrones final three episodes, which may mean some minor spoilers-so if you want to remain unsullied, maybe move away from this post real nice and slow.

In addition, HBO has confirmed the titles for the final two episodes of season 6.

The June 19th episode, the penultimate in the sixth season, will be titled “The Battle of the Bastards”, likely pitting Jon Snow’s ragtag army against the seasoned defenders of Winterfell under Ramsey Bolton’s command. That name is, of course, also the title of author George R.R. Martin’s next book in the A Song of Ice and Fire saga upon which Game of Thrones is based.

Now, for the exciting bit. Episodes nine in Westeros are where heads come off, battles get fought, and weddings get bloody, before leaving the season finale to let the survivors recover and reflect on the show’s future plans.

Not only will they both be at least an hour long (whereas episode eight clocked in at a mere 52 minutes), but they were each directed by Miguel Sapochnik.

Are you excited about hte Season 6 finale of Game of Thrones?

Sound off in comments, but try not to make any jokes about how much, or little, Jon Snow actually knows.

The Game of Thrones season six finale is shaping up to be a big one.

As writer/producer Bryan Cogman told Entertainment Weekly, “It’s definitely the biggest [action sequence yet]”.
