‘Game of Thrones’ Season 6 Finale Will Be Series’ Longest Episode Ever
“Game of Thrones” Season 6 airs on HBO Sundays at 9 p.m. EDT. Leave now if you don’t want to be spoiled. With the knights of the Vale and the possibility of House Tully’s aid, the House Stark will be able to fight on even terms come “Bastard Bowl” in “Game of Thrones” episode 8. A 6-episode run and a 7-episode run, perhaps? Remember the way you smirked at me when my grandson and granddaughter were dragged off to their cells. I do. Also at Quiet Isle is a novice monk called “the gravedigger”. Once the vengeful Hound (Rory McCann) finds them, we bet we’ll be learning more very soon…

So now that the Hound has returned from what seemed to be certain death, how is he supposed to encounter his psychotic older brother who burned him when he was a child? But, thanks to the fact the Hound is obsessive about chopping wood, he isn’t slaughtered by this group when they return to murder Brother Ray’s small religious group.
“Game of Thrones” fans are creatures of habit.
In King’s Landing, it turns out Margaery wasn’t that honest about atoning for her sins after all. Margaery meets with Oleanna and says all kinds of pious things, but then slips her a note assuring her that she’s just acting. To make a long story short, Cersei thinks they should be a united front against the High Sparrow and Olenna thinks all their woes began as a result of Cersei and her incestuous love.
New actress Bella Ramsay, who genuinely commands the energy of a room full of adults, was a treasure to behold in all her regal, no-nonsense, ferocious glory. On their side for sure was Tormund Gianstbane (Kristofer Hivju), as well as Giant McGiantface and all the Wildlings – plus a mini army of 62 men promised by Lady Lyanna (Bella Ramsey) of House Mormont, the baddest kid leader in Westeros. (C’mon Lady Stoneheart!) Which is why Arya Stark clearly isn’t going to die, despite what seems like a mortal mound inflicted by the Waif just after Arya triumphantly booked passage home to Westeros. Time to get hype, people! But Arya isn’t dead.
Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) is doing as he is told and has arrived at Riverrun.
Based on the episode preview, we knew Cersei will be butting heads with the Faith Militant, while Jaime and Brienne were reunited in the Riverlands. Not quite back from the dead, but he’s back.
We next see Beric on season three, and he had been recast and looked worse for wear (since he’d been resurrected a few times). We presume she is chasing Arya and the final snippet shows a girl, probably Arya, jumping away from camera.
Diana Rigg, Natalie Dormer, and Hannah Waddingham in a scene from Game of Thrones. I guess we all know who is at the receiving end of this message for help.

In its sixth season, Game of Thrones is starting to feel like fan service for book readers.
