Australian actor Guy Pearce has welcomed his first child with his partner, Game of Thrones star Carice van Houten.

“A cute little package arrived and told us his name’s Monte Pearce”, Pearce, 48, wrote, tagging van Houten, 39, who responded in kinda with emojis.
The baby, who is the first for both Carice and Guy, has been named Monte. We think we’re gonna keep him.
Ms Van Ierland says Van Houten “had the baby last week and she is doing very well”.
“A cute little package arrived and told us his name’s Monte Pearce”, the actor, 48, an Emmy Award victor for the 2011 miniseries “Mildred Pierce”, tweeted Monday.
The pair announced they were expecting back in March, with a few good-natured tweets about van Houten’s slightly sinister GoT character.
“Nothing like the prospect of a shadowbaby to change your mind about becoming a father!”
