Maybe not in the short term, Kimmel.
The People v. O.J. Simpson also had a stellar night.
Early on in the show Kimmel announced the Maggie Smith rule that any victor not in attendance would not be receiving their Emmy statue.
Clinton tweeted her congratulations to Kate McKinnon of NBC’s “Saturday Night Live”, who won a supporting actress award for comedy. Kimmel rushed out after Smith won for outstanding actress in a drama series.
